Robo SMS OTP messages cannot be sent using brand-name masks or pre-approved marketing masks. Short Code is the separate service for signup, login, account recovery and transaction verification.
Your Example App verification code is 582914. It expires in 5 minutes. Do not share this code.
The example expiry must match the expiry enforced by your application. Message wording alone does not expire a code.
Short Code pricing
- Setup: PKR 25,000.
- Monthly retainer: PKR 8,000.
- SMS usage: charged separately at the confirmed Short Code rate, higher than marketing SMS pricing.
Request the current per-SMS rate, applicable taxes and billing commencement before activation. The retainer is not an advertised SMS bundle or unlimited allowance. Confirm whether the offered code is shared or exclusive before ordering.
Set up OTP messaging
- Provide your verification use case and expected volume.
- Complete the current Short Code onboarding checklist supplied by Robo SMS.
- Confirm fees, billing terms and route activation.
- Integrate the documented GET API from your backend using the assigned account.
- Test successful requests, failed requests, delivery statuses and controlled resends.
Protect the verification workflow
Your application must securely generate, expire and verify codes unless a separate agreed product provides those functions. Apply request and attempt limits, avoid uncontrolled retries and keep API credentials and OTP values out of public pages and logs.
Route restrictions
Do not send promotions, general order alerts or unrelated service announcements on the OTP-only package. A successful API submission is not proof that the recipient received the code.
