Apply for a business-name SMS mask for marketing or non-OTP transactional messages. PKR 5,000 approval per mask plus PKR 5,000 annual renewal.
Identify your business as the sender
A brand-name mask shows your approved business identity as the SMS sender. Robo SMS offers brand masking for marketing or non-OTP transactional messaging according to the approved route. A mask does not authorize OTP messages; those require Short Code.
Marketing and transactional options
Marketing customers can use a Robo SMS pre-approved marketing mask or apply for their own brand name. Transactional customers must apply for their own approved brand mask. There is no pre-approved transactional-mask offering.
Masking charges
- Initial approval: PKR 5,000 per mask.
- Annual renewal: PKR 5,000 per mask.
- SMS usage: charged separately.
Confirm the first renewal date, renewal deadline and applicable taxes before ordering. These fees are separate from Short Code OTP setup and monthly retainer charges.
Application steps
- Prepare your business details, requested sender name, intended route and sample messages.
- Request the current Robo SMS application form and document checklist.
- Submit through the approved onboarding channel and resolve requested corrections.
- Wait for confirmation that the sender and correct route are active.
- Test your approved identity before enabling production messages.
Approval requirements and processing times must be confirmed for your application. Do not plan a launch around an unconfirmed activation date.
What a mask does not do
A recognizable sender does not guarantee delivery, replace recipient consent or automatically activate another route. Marketing-mask approval should not be treated as transactional approval. OTPs cannot use either brand-mask route.
