Shopify SMS Setup Guide
Connect eligible Robo SMS services to your store and test supported order-notification events.
Before installation
Order notifications require the approved transactional brand mask and account. A pre-approved marketing sender is not eligible for order alerts. OTP messaging is a separate Short Code service; confirm the app supports the exact workflow before relying on it.
Setup checklist
- Open the official Shopify listing and review current requirements and permissions.
- Install through Shopify and connect the eligible Robo SMS account using the app’s current instructions.
- Select only the events supported by the installed app version.
- Review message content and personalized fields.
- Run a test order, check duplicate handling and review delivery reports.
Do not assume every Shopify plan supports the same checkout features.
