Short Code OTP Setup and Costs
Understand activation, the monthly retainer and secure application-side verification before sending OTPs.
Budget for three components
Setup is PKR 25,000. The monthly retainer is PKR 8,000. SMS usage is separate and has a higher per-SMS rate than marketing. Request the current usage rate, billing start, tax treatment and cancellation terms.
Activation checklist
- Provide the verification use case and expected volume.
- Complete the supplied onboarding and document requirements.
- Confirm fees and wait for route activation.
- Keep assigned credentials on your backend.
- Test the documented GET API and final delivery handling.
- Apply code expiry, attempt limits and controlled resend rules in your application.
Do not misuse the route
The package is OTP-only. Do not send promotional campaigns or ordinary business alerts. A delivery API does not automatically generate or securely validate the code for your application.
